How do I create Enhanced Sign-In Security for my account?

  3. Under 'Overview', select Profile & Settings from the drop-down menu
  4. If you need to enroll in Enhanced Sign-in Security, you can find a link in the 'Personal Info' tab of 'Profile and Settings'.

What is a username?

A username is a fun phrase which helps you sign into your Capital One Investing℠ account. If you open multiple accounts, just open each account when already signed in with your username and this will link them all together.

Usernames have the following requirements:

  • It must be at least 5 characters long
  • It can combine letters and numbers
  • It cannot match your name or mother's maiden name
  • It is case cAsE sEnSiTiVe
  • It stays the same after your account is opened
